The renovation of Ostrów Wielkopolski Synagogue’s interior elements will have been completed by the 22 August 2011. The last stage of the work is to do the stone flooring, wall paintings and to equip the object. Synagogue will be administered by the Ostrów Centre of Culture. >>

Ostrów Wielkopolski’s Synagogue was one of the winner in the national Facade of the Year competition. The renovation of Synagogue’s interior elements is currently in progress. The property has been already renovated from the outside. - In late November we finish all the plaster work. Installation of metal fencing in front of the monumental Synagogue is currently in progress. As well as the stylized lamps and the granite paving. It is one of the latest stage of landscaping around the building. >>
The instalation process of 10 new windows in the Synagogue has been completed. Reconstructed frames were placed by the crane. The Sławomir Oleszczuk’s company from Wroclaw is currently starting to install the stained glass. >>

Details decorate the facade mainly from the north.They are made from specially reinforced gypsum. - Modernization of the synagogue is partly funded by the UE - says Stanislaw Krakowski, Vice President of Ostrów Wielkopolski. >>

Total project cost is around 7 million zlotys (70 % from EU founds). >>

The District Heating Station of Ostrów Wielkopolski (OZC) has commenced works related to the connection of the terminal and thermal node in the building of the Synagogue in Ostrów Wielkopolski. The works related to the renovation will be carried out by the company Restauro from Toruń, which won the limited tender, creating consortium with the company form Ostrów- Kanbrug.
